Accounting Clerk

At SRS Tax & Accounting Services Inc, we are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. You will also be responsible for calculating fixed assets and depreciation, as well as preparing financial statements and tax returns. If you have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and are proficient in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Prepare cheques for payroll
* Reconcile accounts
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
* Prepare financial statements and tax returns

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles
* Proficient in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
