About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Gupta & Associates Accounting Inc. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as preparing cheques for payroll, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledgers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial reports and analyses to help management make informed decisions.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide support and guidance to newcomers and refugees in obtaining foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Youth, Indigenous People, and Visible Minorities: Provide awareness training and cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for employees from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
