**To be successful as our Traveling Chef, you will**:

- Be a graduate of Chef Training or have a Diploma in Culinary Management from an accredited college or equivalent
- Valid Food Safety Certification
- Current Smart Serve Certification
- Be prepared for extensive travel within Southern Ontario, often on short notice
- Have the ability to build relationships when working with different teams within different kitchen settings
- Have flexibility to work a variety of different shifts including days, evenings, weekends (including holidays)
- Have a passion for menu and recipe development
- Knowledge of cost control
- Experience in coaching and developing teams
- Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Chef role

**It would be an asset if our new Chef has**:

- Acquired a Red Seal designation
- Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to senior living
