**About the Position**
Reporting to the HR Business Partner and working under the guidance and support of multiple HR members, you will take on a diverse array of responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on a wide range of day-to-day operational recruitment tasks such as coordinating and scheduling interviews. Building relationships while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality is also essential to this role.
**What You Bring**
**What You’ll Do**
- Supporting the full cycle of talent attraction, including job postings, conducting phone screens and interviews, completing background and reference checks, and drafting and negotiating employment contracts
- Coordinate and facilitate orientation and onboarding for new employees;
- Support internal communications including drafting e-campaigns, posters, announcements and other initiatives, as needed;
- Maintain and safeguard employee data and HR documentation with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality;
**What You’ll Need**:
- 1+ years of hands-on experience within Human Resources with an emphasis on recruitment (including internships or co-ops);
- Basic understanding of employment law in British Columbia, Alberta & Ontario;
- Comfortable utilizing technology like an HRIS system and Excel to pull information and reporting;
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Exceptional attention to detail and accountability to deliver
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality talent within tight deadlines
