As a Data Analytics Student, you will provide support to the Infrastructure Maintenance (IM) Section to help improve the operational performance reporting.

**As a core part of the project team, you will**:

- Assist with data visualization that supports the area with decision making
- Design and develop visualizations, maps and dashboards using Tableau, ArcGIS and Looker Studio
- Support with optimizing KPI reporting and business area monthly performance cards, internal reporting processes
- Support with maintaining existing reports and dashboards
- Evaluate current data collection processes among front staff, suggest improvements and integrated solutions
- Assist in developing key performance indicators documents, training manuals, dashboard user guides
- Develop reports and presentations
- Assist with data cleaning, synthesis and analysis
- Assist with researching external benchmarking programs and new technologies that will be useful for operations or performance reporting
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Current enrollment full-time at a post-secondary institution, in a computer science, data science or related work experience degree program
- Experience conducting research and providing detailed analysis of information
- Experience in Tableau or similar visual analytics tools
- Experience in SQL

**Assets**
- Experience with Google Apps Scripts and AppSheet
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau

**Conditions of Employment**:

- This position will be a combination of working from home and on-site working conditions.

**Additional Details**:
**Hours of Work**: 33.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday

**Salary**:$22.799 - $26.599 (Hourly)
