Associate Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

**Position Summary... **:This role will implement, monitor, and manage programs and initiatives under to the DEI strategy.
**What you'll do...**:
1. In partnership with the DEI team this role will, support the planning, design, development, communication, and program management of Walmart Canada’s DEI initiatives and programs to support our business objectives.
2. Partner with People & Culture, Corporate Affairs, and Communications teams on both internal and external communications to ensure the Walmart DEI strategy is shared and understood throughout the organization and with external communication channels.
3. Manage relations with DEI program partnerships and initiatives.
4. Identify and build internal and external partnerships - best practices and programs that further our DEI strategic aspirations.
5. Responsible for preparing DEI playbooks and toolkits, social media messages and maintaining all DEI sites across Walmart Canada.
6. Responsible for event program management.
7. Responsible for identifying and implementing efficiencies, process improvement and cost saving strategies within DEI program initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong communications skills
- Project management experience
- 5 years’ experience
- CDEI certifications considered an asset
- Experience with Legislated Employee Equity Program (LEEP) considered an asset
