Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Growth Manager - Diversity and Inclusion to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, directing daily operations, evaluating daily operations, planning and organizing daily operations, hiring, training, directing and motivating staff, overseeing the analysis of data and information, overseeing the preparation of reports, managing contracts, and planning, developing and implementing communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate project activities and direct daily operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of results;
- Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as necessary;
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives and priorities;
- Hire, train, direct and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance and engagement;
- Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform decision-making and drive business growth;
- Oversee the preparation of reports to stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication of results;
- Manage contracts and negotiate agreements with suppliers and partners;
- Plan, develop and implement communication strategies to engage employees, customers and stakeholders;
- Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support newcomers and/or refugees, recruiting them into our organization;
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees;
- Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support youth employment;
- Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support Veterans;
- Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support Indigenous people, offering mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers;
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations;
- Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers;
- Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers;
- Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support mature workers;
- Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support members of visible minorities, applying hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities;
- Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees;
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities;
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field;
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in directing and motivating staff;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with employees, customers and stakeholders;
- Ability to analyze data and information to inform decision-making and drive business growth;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to evaluate situations and make informed decisions;
- Highly organized and proactive, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong knowledge of diversity and inclusion principles and practices, with experience in creating and implementing initiatives that promote equity and inclusion;
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, plus benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off and professional development opportunities.
