We are seeking a highly qualified Sessional Lecturer to teach EDS220H5S, a course focused on equity and diversity in education.
About the CourseThis course aims to raise awareness and sensitivity among teachers and students in diverse schools and cultural communities. It includes a field experience where participants observe and participate in equity and diversity efforts in a community organization.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing and teaching the course content, including preparation and delivery; out-of-class interactions with students; development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams.
RequirementsTo be considered, applicants should have experience teaching this course or a similar one at the university level. An Ontario College of Teaching (OCT) designation or similar credential is an asset.
