**About the role**:
Are you passionate about orchestrating seamless events and driving impactful marketing campaigns? Tecsys is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Events Marketing Manager to plan and execute conferences, workshops, and trade shows, ensuring every detail is meticulously managed. You'll also play a key role in our marketing efforts, helping to develop and implement strategies that maximize event attendance and engagement. **Requirements**:
**Logistical Support**:

- Work closely with the Events Marketing Manager to plan and coordinate logistics for conferences, workshops, and trade shows.
- Assist in venue selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Coordinate accommodations, and on-site logistics for team members attending events.
- Assist with managing the event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.

**Marketing Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with the Events Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies for events.
- Assist in creating promotional materials, including event collateral, banners, and signage.
- Support the development of pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.

**Events Presence Management**:

- Work with the Events Marketing Manager to design and set up engaging and visually appealing trade show presence.
- Coordinate presence logistics, including preparing shipments and shipping out packages.
- Collaborate with the sales and product teams to ensure our presence effectively showcases our compelling customer value proposition.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Track and analyze key metrics to evaluate the success of events.
- Prepare post-event reports, including insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure event contacts are tagged accordingly in CRM and HubSpot.
- Tecsys branded merchandise management:

- Execute Tecsys branded merchandise program.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience.
- Proven experience in planning and executing events such as conferences, trade shows, workshops, launches, and corporate parties.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in event management software, online registration platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Cvent is a plus.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in event marketing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally, managing external marketing partners (e.g., event production agencies, etc.), and internal stakeholders/clients. Maintains a respectful and professional attitude towards all co-workers.
- Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
