We are passionate about our technology and the value we deliver to our customers. We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join and support the growth of our Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) team, and take our business to new heights.

Today’s RPAS are transforming how organizations and governments generate information and insights, and how they move materials. As a Business Development Manager you will be required to explain the technical and financial benefits of our capabilities to enterprise and government customers.

This is a hands-on job for a purpose-driven person, who thrives at creating and identifying the conditions needed for new opportunities with new customer segments to succeed. You are passionate about ongoing customer success, and have been personally successful in sales, and have operated across both the Commercial and Public Sector segments in Canada.

Key Tasks:

- Partner with other members of the RPAS leadership team within our Centre of Excellence to execute the strategic plan and further develop the go to market strategy.
- Prospect and generate new business.
- Manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification to successful deal closure.
- Accountable for achieving sales targets and deal profitability.

**Qualifications**
- Experience following Revenue Storm and/or Strategic Selling sales methodologies preferred.
- Prior experience selling Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, General Aviation aircraft, or autonomous systems into: Aerospace, Defence, Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector.
- A collaborative team player who can build consensus by pulling multi-disciplinary teams together and aligning them around common goals and objectives as they relate to growth.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills are key.
- Comfortable operating with C-suite.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex sales, and meeting annual sales targets $5m/yr to $10m/yr.
- Able to work flexible hours and be willing to travel, primarily within Canada.
- Business Development, Capture Management, Marketing, and Proposal development experience is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills in English & French are required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
