The CFL aims to be an industry leader in the creation and execution of world class premium experiences in the sports and entertainment industry. To achieve this objective, the Premium Experiences (PE) Program bundles high value assets together to create innovative, unique and exclusive experiences that are delivered with a superior level of concierge service during the Grey Cup Festival and Grey Cup championship game.

The role of the Manager, VIP & Premium Events is to manage the CFL Premium Experiences Program event logistics, client services and budget management. The Manager will play a key role in the creation, marketing, and delivery of bespoke, exclusive experiences for the league’s premium clients. This position will administer and communicate program details and process program sales with premium clients directly.

This position reports to the AVP, Business Development, Grey Cup & Premium Events, and will work closely with all members of the team. This role requires travel throughout the year to select CFL cities for VIP event preparation for Grey Cup and/or Touchdown Atlantic. Travel for Touchdown Atlantic in July and Grey Cup week each November is a requirement.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Evolve and elevate existing league assets and resources to create an unforgettable Premium Experiences (PE) program for Grey Cup
- Develop sales collateral and pricing model for the Premium Experiences Program (PE) (see video cfl.ca/tickets/premiumexperiences/)
- Source multiple event vendors and suppliers to select best quality and value to meet program expectations and adhere to budget deliverables
- Work with host clubs to access team resources to execute an integrated streamlined program
- Manage, update, and monitor the PE & VIP registration throughout the Cvent platform for VIP clients, including generating various data reports
- Manage the VIP registration check-in during Grey Cup week (welcoming VIPs, providing their VIP package including event tickets and information, keeping track of those who have picked up their package, etc.)
- Liaise with other departments and CFL affiliates as required to confirm VIP and/or ticketing requirements, collateral/signage etc.
- Coordinate with host club to assist with the execution of the VIP transportation program to meet the needs of the Commissioner’s guests and PE clients
- Assist with the preparation, logistics and execution of all VIP events as assigned
- Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful premium programs

**Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience)**
- A college diploma/university degree in Event/Entertainment Management and/or Sports Administration or equivalent experience
- A minimum of three years of progressive experience in the event management/hospitality industry
- Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Proven administrative & customer service experience, with excellent attention to detail is essential
- Composed under pressure, able to prioritize competing demands and handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
- Able to foster effective relationships across the organization
- Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-directed while comfortable collaborating with the team
- Budget management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn new online systems
- Cvent, Passkey, Social Tables platform familiarity
- CRM software

**Location**

CFL League Office is in Toronto. This position can be remote, hybrid or onsite. Must be willing and able to attend meetings or other business events at the league office or other venue as business needs dictate. Proof of vaccination is a condition of employment.
