Become a Vital Part of Moderna's Mission as a Team Lead in our mRNA Vaccines Production unit in Laval, Canada. This crucial supervisory role is responsible for managing production and its team, adhering to cGMP standards and health and safety regulations, with a hands-on approach to manufacturing processes and a passion for technological innovations in mRNA. This is a day shift position.
**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
Within 3 Months, You Will
Take the helm of the production operations and team.
Begin monitoring team performance and aligning with key performance indicators.
Start collaborating with the Supply Chain for scheduling, inventory, and capacity planning.
Engage in various projects related to processes, continuous improvement, and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Within 6 Months, You Will
Oversee training, development, and performance of personnel in manufacturing operations.
Manage team performance, including recognition, rewards, and addressing non-performance through periodic reviews.
Develop operational plans for team success and ensure effective communication across the commercial platform.
Efficiently relay production-related information to management.
Within 12 Months, You Will
Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and health and safety rules in production areas.
Participate in developing batch records, SOPs, and training materials for operational, cGMP, and health and safety processes.
Collaborate closely with QA to facilitate the timely release of commercial batches.
Investigate and contribute to the documentation of quality deviations and health and safety incidents.
**Here's What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
5 to 10 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
3 years of experience in personnel management
University degree in science/engineering.
Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers, supervisors and support departments.
Excellent writing, oral communication and organizational skills are required.
Experience in chromatography and tangential flow filtration would be an asset.

Experience preparing for audits and inspections, understanding health and regulatory authority guidelines.
Fluency in French and English as a working language.
