We Got This Canada is a non-profit organization working with a mission to help families experiencing food insecurity. We are looking for a Website Developer to work on our upcoming project and provide the best cost effective design and solution.

Be 18 - 30 years old

**Internship Details**:
37.5 hours per week
Wage based on experience between minimum wages to $17/hour max

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides the first point of contact for information and assistance to clients.
- Is the primary recruiter for new volunteers, ensuring a solid volunteer base.
- Collaborates with the Executive Director in the ongoing development of WGTC volunteer recruitment and in developing strategies for volunteer engagement and recognition.
- Coordinate all logistics and scheduling for We Got This Canada’s events and activities planned for the month.
- Coordinate food deliveries with volunteer drivers and follow up with any missed deliveries or any delivery issues.
- Ensure the correct setup of digital client registration tools and information systems, optimizing as necessary. Follow up on new client registrations, collect client information, determine program eligibility, Inform new clients of the guidelines of the program.
- Plan the upcoming events,oversee and coordinate on site inventory and delivery ensuring adequate inventory, timely delivery and service standards being met.
- Order any deficit items for the upcoming programs.
- Call out/ arrange volunteers for packing and deliveries, supervise sorting, packing, cleaning and organizing hampers on hamper day.
- Arranging donation pick ups
- Receive and restock any undeliverable hampers to point of pick up
- Responsible for serving clients in a pleasant, efficient, courteous and professional manner.
- Collaborates with the Executive Director in the production, editing and distribution of WGTC newsletters and other promotional communications on social media and website.
- Perform other duties, as assigned

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- A combination of Post-secondary education and experience in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to work with little supervision and take initiative
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Demonstrated ability to handle occasional stressful situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Other related duties as assigned

**HOURS OF WORK**
- This is a full-time position based on a 37.5 hour week.
- Generally, office hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. The position may include one evening shift per week and a shift once a month on a Saturday.
