Job Summary
Working under the direction of the Emergency Services Manager, the Emergency Services Technician essential functions are as follows:
1. Assist Emergency Services Manager and Project Manager on all assigned projects;
2. Provide TWO (2) hour (maximum) on-site Response time for all assigned Emergency Service claims;
3. Provide Daily Jobsite photo documentation in ENCIRCLE & Xcelerate, including pre/post Photos;
4. Work independently with little or no direct supervision once an understanding of daily work activity is agreed;
5. Provide Daily Xcelerate notes and ensure all compliance tasks in Xcelerate are complete in a timely manner;
6. Implement and preform quality checks to ensure that IICRC guidelines are strictly complied with on all work site projects assigned;
7. Provide Daily Moisture mapping & humidity readings;
8.Perform board ups, assist with post-construction cleaning when needed
9. Ensure Hudson Health & Safety policies are implemented and fully adhered to at all work sites, inclusive of daily (end of day) cleanliness at such work site;
10. Develop & utilize a strong working knowledge of product, equipment and computer programs Hudson uses;
11. Carry out emergency response procedures such as pumping out water, cleaning and removing drywall etc.;
12. Clean the effected area exercising extreme caution;
13. Collect all hazardous materials using outlined safety procedures;
14. Dispose of all hazardous materials, following all legislative directives and written company policies;
15. Setup all required equipment such as dehumidifiers, fans and ventilation systems;
16. Other duties as required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
- Availability to be on call once a month
- On-site locations and office when necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, bending and kneeling
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction or restoration industry
Carpentry & Drywall experience is considered an asset.
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass a background check
Health and Safety Representative experience considered an asset
Remuneration : $20/hr to $25/hr based on experience. Benefits and vehicle provided upon completion of probationary period.
