We are currently looking for a qualified National Business Manager, Psychotic Disorders. This is a permanent full-time job, reporting to the Director, Marketing & Sales, Psychotic Disorders.

**Your Position**:
The National Business Manager is responsible for implementing the national sales and marketing strategies for the Psychotic Disorders Team portfolio and lead the Psychotic Disorders sales team to achieve excellence in execution, optimal customer engagement and deliver on national sales objectives. The NBM reports to the Director, Marketing & Sales, Psychotic Disorders and is responsible for developing a highly engaged and performing team of Mental Health Account Managers (MHAM).

At Lundbeck Canada, NBMs have 5 key tasks: Achievement of Sales Objectives, Business Planning, Coaching of Mental Health Account Managers and Administration and Personal Development.

**Achievement of Sales Objectives (50%)**
- Ensure that sales objectives are achieved nationally and for all territories for promoted brands as per the national plan of action and in line with the corporate strategic goals.
- Communicate clearly and regularly sales vision by establishing clear roles, responsibilities & objectives, and drive accountability for performance
- Ensure adequate execution of marketing strategy and implementation of business plans in territories.
- Develop metrics to monitor brand health and sales KPIs and lead national and territory level business reviews to assess effectiveness of field execution.
- Ensure effective implementation of field business interactions as per the Mental Health Account Manager’s annual business plan targeting process in alignment with Lundbeck marketing strategy.

**Managing and Coaching **of Mental Health Account Managers (20%)**
- Ensure ongoing coaching of MHAM to achieve sales results and business plan objectives.
- Perform ongoing assessment, feedback, and support the field force to drive individual and team efforts and performance.
- Foster an “own the business” mentality; maintain and promote a positive productive attitude.
- Coach, recognize and reward above average effort, positive attitude and behaviors associated with high performance individuals and teams that lead to achieving sales results
- Course correct and address performance issues in a timely manner
- Promote Lundbeck shared beliefs and a culture of high ethical standards and integrity
- Coach open and honest communication along with collaboration between Lundbeck sales teams and other cross functional team members.
- Build an effective team that is agile, engaged, empowered and capable of sustaining business growth.

**Business Planning (15%)**
- Develop national business plan that supports brand strategy aimed at driving growth and achieving sales results and ensure ongoing evaluation of business plan quarterly
- Support the development of business plans for all territories.
- Strategically allocate and manage territory budgets to optimize sales results
- Collaborate consistently with the brand team to help gather regional insights and support development of a brand plan that captures regional & national growth opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with all cross functional resources and team members to support business needs through customer focused initiatives.

**Administration and corporate compliance (5%)**
- Ensure sales team’s effective use of all decision support systems (CRM, Dashboard, Financial, etc.), compliant to administrative processes and budget management.
- Timely response to all Lundbeck Canada internal departmental requests.

**Professional Development (10%)**
- Invest time and energy into professional development (5%).
- Support and follow up on employees’ professional development plans (IDP) and retain talent in the Lundbeck MHAM team (5%).

**_Positions Qualifications:_**
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration or equivalent. Master’s degree in Business Administration (an asset).
- Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in CNS is an asset.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in people management.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of sales operations
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Bilingualism (French & English) is a requirement, oral and written.
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.
