Greek Community Office Coordinator

The Victoria & Vancouver Island Greek Community Society has positions available for Office Coordinators. Working with members of the community and the other youth hired by the community you will help with and implement projects and Initiatives for the community including procedures, equipment, and training. You will provide assistance with digital platforms, social networking, asset records, policy and procedure development, audio-visual components, and the other administrative components of managing a not-for-profit organization.
The positions will run from June 2 to September 2, 2023 at 35 hours per week Monday to Friday but with some weekend or evening shifts. Salary is $18 plus 4% Vacation Pay. The positions will be based at the Greek Community Center but may require traveling within the Greater Victoria Region.
Qualifications include education or experience in Business, Accounting, filing Project Planning and Management, Advertising, audio-visual operation, excellent written and oral communication, competency in Microsoft Office or equivalent, social media skills, and self-direction.
Own transport an asset. Modern Greek an asset.
Contract length: 2 months
