**Office and Communications Coordinator**

The Oaklands Community Association (OCA) Office and Communications Coordinator will be the first point of contact and offer outstanding customer service to the community members of the Oaklands neighbourhood and Greater Victoria area. This position is responsible for maintenance of the OCA online presence, including website and social media platforms, and creating a monthly newsletter. This position will work collaboratively with the Co-Executive Directors team, Oaklands Program Managers, and staff. The Office and Communication
Coordinator reports directly to the Co-Executive Director/Finance and Facilities.

**Hours of Work**: This is a regular full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Evening and weekend work will occasionally be required to attend program needs or emergency callouts.

**Compensation**:$23 per hour. This position offers a benefit package including extended health and dental, life insurance, pension plan after three-month probation period. OCA offers staff discounts on programs, additional sick time and days off, and positive workplace culture.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of relevant training or certification in related field and two years experience
- Proficient computer skills including MSOffice Suite, website upkeep, social media platforms, and database registration systems
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
