**WHAT IT TAKES**
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management, or a combination of education and experience. An MBA would be an asset.
- At least seven years’ related experience including a demonstrated track record with the complexities of major capital planning and project management in an institutional setting.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles of facilities planning, design, and construction of complex building types, and project management systems; excellent knowledge of building codes/applicable regulations.
- A professional designation in a related field would be an asset; PMP certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Ministry’s capital asset reference guide and capital asset management framework.

**Additional Information**
- Occasional travel between Douglas College’s campuses will be required for this regular, full-time position. Regular hours of work are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
