Optimal Hearing requires a receptionist/Accounting Assistant to join a locally owned business where the environment is fast paced, always friendly and welcoming.

The receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients and their families, whether in person or over the phone. The foremost responsibility of this position is to professionally greet all clients with a warm and friendly welcome as they walk through the door while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Punctuality and reliability are key to this position as being able to answer multi-line telephone calls. This position is also required to perform various office and accounting related tasks such as basic bookkeeping.

**Responsibilities for this position include**:

- Greeting clients with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Answer multi-line telephone calls, booking appointments, filing, and assist with client questions.
- Maintain and keep the office organized and clean.
- Collect and sort mail, take messages and arrange courier deliveries.
- Accept payments from clients, both over the phone and walk in.
- Entry level accounting, invoicing, and processing credit card payments.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative/receptionist position.
- Friendly and excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Detail oriented.

**Position Hours**
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:45 am - 3:30 pm

**Salary**
- Salary will commensurate with experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 18-30 per week

**Salary**: $13.00-$16.50 per hour
