**Position Summary**

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Strategic Marketing and Communication Planning: Craft and execute a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy that aligns perfectly with our overarching objectives.
- Content Generation: Create compelling content, encompassing newsletters, social media updates, and website enhancements, all aimed at championing the organization's mission and initiatives.
- Digital Footprint Management: Administer our online presence, which includes the organizational website and social media platforms. The goal is to captivate, inform, and mobilize our audience effectively.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish, monitor, and present key performance indicators to gauge the impact of our marketing and communication endeavours. This data will help us fine-tune our strategies for greater effectiveness.
- Interdepartmental Cooperation: Foster close collaboration with the CATF team to ensure seamless external communication and a unified brand image.

**Requirements**:
To qualify, you will need at least the following:

- Education in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Proven experience in successful marketing and communications, including public relations.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media, and web content management.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies and best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with adaptability and results-driven mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective volunteer management.
- Deep commitment to our organization's mission and values.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Effective at building relationships with diverse stakeholders, including discretion.
- Self-motivated, solution-focused, and flexible team player.
- Exceptional attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Kind, patient, and flexible in handling change positively.
- Demonstrates unwavering confidentiality.

Although not required, we consider the following to be valuable assets:

- Experience with non-profit operations.
- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in non-profit management or equivalent job experience including annual and major giving, sponsorships, grants, and events.
- Fundraising certification (or working towards certification).
- A background in the animal welfare sector.

Pay: $37,000.00-$38,500.00 per year
