Quality Control Coordinator

The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective management of quality control and operational support for the production and shipping of concrete ready mix and aggregate products. The coordinator's main objective is to ensure the quality and consistency of the products, resolve any issues that arise, and handle situations quickly and safely. The job covers the Northwestern-Ontario region, with collaboration and support for other Northern Ontario operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Health & Safety: _ Implementing safety policies, ensuring compliance with government regulations, conducting risk analysis, coordinating safety training, and adhering to safety guidelines on construction sites and company operations.
- Environment: _ Prioritizing environmental considerations in daily activities and complying with environmental regulations.
- Technical Support and Quality Control: _ Supporting the development, management, and optimization of products, implementing the company's quality program, conducting sampling and testing, monitoring testing KPIs, managing quality incident investigations, generating reports and analysis, maintaining relationships with various teams, and participating in quality audits and product development.
The Quality Control Coordinator works closely with the Technical Manager and collaborates with the QC, plant, operations, and sales teams to ensure the production and delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs. The work environment may involve both outdoor and indoor settings, and flexibility in working hours, including overtime and weekends, may be required. Handling cement, aggregates, concrete, and lab equipment is also part of the job.
