**Research Assistant/Data Abstractor, Sunnybrook Research Institute**

**Temporary, Full Time (37.5 hours per week, 1 year contract)**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Abstracting data from Cancer Care Ontario pathology reports
- Assisting with the development and testing of a REDCap database
- Inputting data into a REDCap database
- Reviewing inputted data for accuracy

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Experience with Electronic Data Capture systems (e.g. REDCap)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have access to a computer and have proficient computer skills
