To that end, we are building an on-demand knowledge service that acquires, tracks, analyzes, and transforms large-scale information collection into bespoke, actionable insights for government affairs professionals.

**About the Role**

We are searching for an inquisitive Researcher & Analyst who also has an entrepreneur’s instincts for opportunity. The Researcher & Analyst, Life Sciences will support the collection and analysis of business and policy intelligence with a focus on the information needs of government affairs and market access professionals working in life sciences. The role will focus on primarily the Canadian landscape for biopharmaceuticals but may at times extend into coverage and analysis of US, UK, and EU.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development of written reports and background briefings on key issues, processes, organizations;
- Remain current on emerging life science and health policy discussions and developments, as well as associated industry trends;
- Provide research support to support business development and strategic operations;
- Support client discovery/onboarding process with respect to Delphic Research’s monitoring subscription-based offerings;
- Participate in special projects as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**
- Completed undergraduate degree with a focus on health policy, political science, public health, or health sciences;
- A strong understanding of the Canadian life sciences policy and access landscape;
- Experience or an interest in developing client relationships and management skills.
- Academic, extracurricular, or professional research experience.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Completion or current enrollment in a Master’s degree in health policy or a related field is an asset;
- Experience with drafting research reports and external written communications;
- Prior research experience in data collection, survey design, data visualization, and interviewing to extract information from primary sources;
- Experience with organising high-level meetings or events;
- Experience in delivering presentations and facilitating engaging conversations;

**How to Apply**

**Time Expectation**

This is a full-time role, with the expected hours of 9am-5pm EST including an hour break. A total of 35 working hours per week.

**Location**

This is a hybrid position with the expectation of a minimum of 1 day in office per week.

Our physical location is at 175 Bloor Street East, Toronto ON, just a short 3-minute walk from the Bloor-Yonge subway station.

**Salary**

Approximately $40,000 CAD per year.
