**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As the Manager, Instructional Design, you will be accountable to lead our Instructional Design Team to deliver learning initiatives that drive employee performance and engagement.

Reporting to the Director Talent Development, you are responsible for leading the production of learning programs that build the knowledge and skills of our Sephora Canada team. This includes leading members of the Instructional Design Team’s daily operational work while at the same time using your advanced instructional design techniques, creative instructional design skills and technical knowledge to deliver outstanding learning.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- Lead, mentor and develop a team of instructional designers
- Partner with cross functional team leaders to build efficiencies in the process that result in better learning programs
- Supports instructional designers in their individual growth
- Own content review cycles, course development processes that support scale and timely delivery
- Works closely to deliver unbiased and effective learning programs
- Provides mentorship and drives project management using PM tools and the learning project management lifecycle
- Guide the team on how to story board and script content to create end to end design for digital learning solutions
- Coordinate with different teams across the business to develop digital learning content and assets
- Remains current on innovation in learning design and relevant methodologies that will influence future direction of programs
- Leads and advances instructional design standards, policies and procedures
- Owns and advances quality assurance as it pertains to instructional design development

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:

- 5 years of experience in the design and development of adult education programs using sophisticated instructional design, project management, and performance improvement programs
- at least 2 years in instructional design project management in a team leadership role
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work on simultaneous projects and flex in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Strong communication skills and proven track record of managing up and partnering with various levels in the organization
- Critical thinking and implementation of ideas, solutions, projects and high-level attention to detail and accuracy in execution of work and tasks
- Leverage metrics to improve learner outcomes, with the ability to articulate your findings into recommendations to collaborators
- Continually seek out new skills and technology to drive innovative learning solutions
- University degree in HR, Education, Arts, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Adult Education diploma/certificate
- Ability to travel as required, minimum of 20%
- Be able to lift and move 50 pounds
