Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with a passion for creating compelling, modern training experiences for our Sales, Success, and Partner teams. The ideal candidate incorporates design thinking and development expertise, including innovative technology with best practices in adult learning theory. You can convert learning objectives into behavior-changing simulations, online courses, informational webinars, custom playbooks, exams, assessments, and interactive experiences to meet program objectives. You are comfortable managing multiple, projects in a collaborative, environment with a committed extended team. You will report to the Senior Manager of Learning Design and Experience.

Responsibilities

Establish working relationships with a global team of internal and external business partners to design quality assets Blend stakeholder vision and expectations with industry best practices to deliver impactful learning experiences Perform needs analysis to recommend, design, and implement training that addresses gaps Apply instructional design expertise while adhering to a learning content strategy to design, create, and publish learning solutions/job aides Demonstrate mastery of multimedia design software (Adobe Creative Cloud) including image, video, audio, and presentation design Use multiple learning content development tools including Evolve Authoring, Seismic Learning, Articulate Storyline 360 / Rise, Adobe Captivate Create work with an engaging visual flair, including graphics, visuals, animation, and digital imagery Develop strategies for increasing interactivity in remote learning sessions to improve learner experience in virtual events Write/edit/ proofread text to deliver production-quality written materials for our global audience Manage learning development projects within required timeline(s) Ensure all content and learning experiences meet quality standards Use the data dashboard to evaluate impact of training and communicate effectiveness to stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Instructional/Content Designer or similar role Minimum 3+ years of experience designing training programs and workshops Lead projects from inception and consult through completion Design a project from inception and consultation through to completion Break down concepts to explain them to different audiences Use data/insights to influence future learning strategy and experiences Stay flexible during growth and change

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent graphic design software LUMA certification or experience with design thinking methodology Knowledge of publishing SCORM 1.2 and xAPI packages to a Learning Management System (LMS) Experience managing projects with external vendors

Responsabilités

Établir des relations de travail avec une équipe internationale de partenaires commerciaux internes et externes pour concevoir des actifs de qualité Associer la vision et les attentes des parties prenantes aux meilleures pratiques du secteur pour offrir des expériences d'apprentissage percutantes Effectuer une analyse des besoins pour recommander, concevoir et mettre en œuvre une formation qui répond aux lacunes Mettre en application l'expertise de conception pédagogique tout en adhérant à une stratégie de contenu de formation pour concevoir, créer et publier des solutions de formation ou des aides-mémoire Démontrer la maîtrise des logiciels de conception multimédia (Adobe Creative Cloud), y compris ceux de conception d'images, de vidéos, d'audio et de présentations Utiliser plusieurs outils de développement de contenus de formation, notamment Evolve Authoring, Seismic Learning, Articulate Storyline 360 / Rise et Adobe Captivate Créer des projets visuels attrayants, notamment des graphismes, des visuels, des animations et des images numériques Développer des stratégies pour accroître l'interactivité dans les sessions de formation à distance afin d'améliorer l'expérience de l'apprenant dans les événements virtuels Rédiger, éditer et relire des textes afin de produire des documents écrits de qualité pour notre public mondial Gérer les projets de développement de la formation dans les délais impartis Garantir que l'ensemble du contenu et des expériences d'apprentissage respectent les normes de qualité Utiliser le tableau de bord des données pour évaluer l'impact de la formation et communiquer l'efficacité aux parties prenantes

Exigences minimales

Baccalauréat ou plus Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en tant que concepteur(trice) de contenu/instructeur(trice) ou dans un rôle similaire Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans la conception de programmes et d'ateliers de formation Diriger des projets depuis leur conception et les conseiller jusqu'à leur achèvement Concevoir un projet depuis sa conception et sa consultation jusqu'à son achèvement Développer les concepts pour les expliquer à différents publics Utiliser les données/informations pour influencer la stratégie et l'expérience de formation futures Rester flexible en période de croissance et de changement

Compétences souhaitées

Expérience avec Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop ou un logiciel de conception graphique équivalent Certification LUMA ou expérience en méthodologie de réflexion de conception Connaissance de la publication des modules SCORM 1.2 et xAPI dans un système de gestion de l'apprentissage (SGA) Expérience de la gestion de projets avec des fournisseurs externes

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $80,300 and $117,810. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
