Altis Recruitment is seeking an Instructional Design & Content Specialist to join our client, a crown corporation on a 6-month contract. . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing instructional materials and training programs tailored to a technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design and Content Development:

  • Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including lesson plans, eLearning courses, and job aids.
  • Translate technical information into accessible content for adult learners, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes, such as interactive elements and gamification.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs), supervisors, and stakeholders to gather information and align project objectives.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and communication channels to facilitate collaboration.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Build strong relationships with SMEs, supervisors, contractors, and team members to support collaborative efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in instructional design and content development, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360 (specifically Rise), and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for enhancing learning experiences through dynamic teaching methods.
