About the Role:
This Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition position offers an exciting opportunity to lead our recruitment efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive business growth through strategic hiring initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Workforce Planning: Develop and execute transformative workforce planning initiatives to propel business growth and objectives.
- Talent Sourcing: Collaborate closely with senior management to design recruitment strategies that align with the company's overarching goals.
- Candidate Attraction: Showcase ingenuity by crafting and executing innovative recruitment tactics to allure top-tier candidates.
- Talent Acquisition Leadership: Drive the institution's talent acquisition and engagement model, expertly aligned with our esteemed objectives.
- Community Outreach: Uphold exceptional standards of talent acquisition practices, fostering community outreach and EDI partnerships that uphold our values.
- Team Management:
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide the recruitment team towards unparalleled excellence throughout the entire hiring process.
- Relationship Building: Establish fruitful relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent sources, expanding our network of exceptional talent.
- Business Acumen: Employ data-driven insights to optimize recruitment processes and outcomes, staying ahead of market trends and competition.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

- Profound knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and latest recruitment technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset, adept at leveraging recruitment data to inform process enhancement.
- Familiarity with BC employment standards and legislation.
- CPHR certification preferred, reflecting dedication to professional excellence.
- Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
