0.8 FTE Permanent (28 hours per week)

Central Toronto Youth Services (CTYS) is an accredited, innovative Children’s Mental Health Centre providing a range of mental health services for youth and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive innovative management team. CTYS is an accredited Children’s Mental Health Centre with a range of services and programs for youth and families across Toronto. These services are client centered and flexible and geared for youth and families with a range of mental health needs who may have difficulty accessing traditional office based services. Youth and family services are provided virtually, in person in the office and in community settings.

**Reporting Relationship**: Director, Client Services & Quality Improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct clinical supervision and staff support
- Support Anti Oppression, Equity & ABR Management Leadership Initiatives
- Provide advocacy and structural leverage for staff team, around issues of equity and social justice.
- Support and sustain values of decolonization and social/racial justice as central to the work.
- Provide leadership in maintaining high functioning staff teams and oversee all admin functions pertaining to staff and the programs.
- Sustain positive, collaborative working relationships with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, mental health care providers & crisis services/ Hospitals
- Ensure clinical services are delivered in a manner consistent with all applicable agency policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
- Provide clinical and/or administrative coverage for other CTYS programs as needed.
- Provide strong advocacy for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities

**Qualifications**:

- A graduate degree (or equivalent) in social work or related helping profession.
- Membership in the appropriate professional regulatory body (RSW/ RP).
- Demonstrated clinical training, knowledge, and experience in supporting therapists servicing 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and families, including BRIEF models.
- Experience supporting virtual services is an asset.
- Experience supervising/implementing identity based therapeutic groups.
- Demonstrated clinical and administrative supervision and case management skills to ensure effective service delivery by staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to, and understanding of the principals of gender and sexuality based equity and inclusion.
- Commitment to practice from an Anti-Oppression, Equity, ABR and Trauma Informed frameworks.
- Experience in providing trauma informed therapeutic services.
- Commitment to Evidence Informed Practices.
- Proficient in the use of computers and familiarity with client data base software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in French language is an asset.
- COVID Vaccinations required.
