TBD Telecom By Design Inc. is a company of seasoned professionals with expertise in IT LAN Infrastructure, Telecommunications Hardware and Networking Products. Our services include communication systems, structured data cabling networks and hosted cloud services.
TBD Telecom By Design Inc. is looking for a Services Manager to work with our Toronto office located in Liberty Village to lead project estimation, co-ordinate service fulfillment of technicians and management of structured cabling implementations. Engaged and supportive with other departments both internal and external.
**Role Description**:
The main function of the Services Manager is to ensure the success of our technicians and clients, from estimation to close-out to billing. A successful Services Manager will complete daily tasks with the drive to build on each success. Working with our Sales and Projects Team we seek professionalism to help grow the department in Vancouver, Saskatoon, Calgary, Toronto and Halifax.

**Key Responsibilities: Scheduling, Communicating, Administration**
- Ensuring the accuracy of the daily/weekly technician schedule
- Set up Site Visits as required for Sales Team
- Assessing severity of customer service issues with the appropriate sense of urgency
- Respond to all stakeholders as required
- Ensuring that the team is aware of their responsibilities for execution of project plans.
- Experience working with sub-trades and products
- Reporting progress and any applicable changes to the timeline to general contractors, clients, etc.
- Create and respond to work requests (estimates)
- Update CRM system with UTD Status and details daily
- Manage, price and document submissions.
- Manage Pricing List
- Order Material required for scheduled work/projects
- Knowledge of construction and construction / project work flows
- Completing all paperwork for close out documents at the end of all projects.
- Monitoring progress of ongoing projects based on schedules, deliverables and resources.
- Complete As-Builts as required
- Find local cabling contractors for subcontracts; Manage Subcontractor agreements.
- Supporting companywide expansion effort to obtain and maintain customers.
- Reporting on project budget and costs as outlined in tender documents.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service capacity within a technical / construction environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite of Products
Comfortable with Teams / Google Meet/ Zoom
Strong online research skills
Ticketing and CRM experience is an asset
Experience with Quickbooks Online an asset
**Required Skills**:
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business development skills.
- Software Skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe PDF, AutoCAD, BIM, MS Project (Gannt Charts).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for client-facing project communications.
**Education**:
Degree or Diploma (Telecommunications, Project Management, Skilled Trade Certificate)
CAPM or PMP preferred or willingness to attain.

5-7 Years - skilled trades industry (preferred)
5-7 Years - budgets, project scheduling, project requirements
5-7 Years - Excel, AutoCAD

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
