**Program Overview - Workforce Development, Community Programs**

Employer Engagement for Immigrant Integration (EEII) Engages employers with information, training, and best practices around hiring and retaining newcomer talent. The focus is on educating employers on the value of hiring newcomer talent by offering specific activities including information sessions, workshops, and networking events.

The Mentorship Pathways to Employment program supports skilled newcomers in finding employment that commensurate with education, skills, and experience by providing job search preparation, Canadian workplace engagement, mentoring, networking, employment support and settlement services

**What You Will Do**
- Work in close collaboration with the Mentoring Pathways to Employment program (MPE), provide support to Employer Engagement for Immigrant Integration by coordinating and liaising with WoodGreen staff, employers, and partner organizations to create awareness and training to support immigrant workforce integration.
- Provide effective support to newcomers to achieve their long-term employment/education success.
- Collaborate with the EEII/MPE team, organize networking events, job fairs, guest speaker events, employer training, focus groups and panel discussions.
- Conduct outreach to market programs to employers and recruit and showcase employer champions that are hiring immigrant talent.
- Develop topics for curriculum and training material for employers and newcomers; provide on-boarding support to employers and new hires.
- Work in collaboration with MPE team to identify and secure work experience placements, paid employment, and mentoring support.
- Secure relationships with new employers and expand opportunities to achieve employment goals of targeted client base.
- Track evaluation frameworks and tools that align with project to ensure ongoing tracking and impact measurement.
- Develop/modify service delivery model, workshop material, program marketing material, delivery tools based on continuous improvement and evolving needs.
- Ensure all information is collected as per agency, funder, partner requirements; compile statistics and generate reports as needed.
- Develop and deliver both in person and online training modules for both employers and newcomers.
- Perform on-going case management, follow up, tracking.
- Contribute to program evaluation and reporting.
- Ensure service coordination by identifying and making appropriate client referrals to settlement services, community resources and other appropriate services.
- Follow all agency health and safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate LinkedIn Learning Registration with clients.
- Establish, coordinate, and manage partner relationships with other newcomer employment programs. Refer, register, and track all clients to said programs, ex. ASCEND and FAST.
- Gather modern and relevant resources to develop a resource repository for employer partners.

**What You Bring to the Team**
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership position with demonstrated skills in program coordination.
- Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in individual Career and Employment Counseling, employer relations and group facilitation.

- Demonstrated track record assisting newcomer professionals find, maintain, and retain long term employment aligned with their career goal.
- Strong organizational skills, able to take initiative, manage change/transitions with the ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines and targets.
- Experience tracking targets and program deliverables, drafting reports for funders,
- Demonstrated sales and marketing, recruitment, and presentation skills with a proven track record to achieve service outcomes.
- Advanced skills utilizing all Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Power Point and Excel, and databases and social media.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal; strong facilitation/presentation skills.
- Certification in Crisis Intervention, First Aid, Occupational Health & Safety and Life Skills an asset.
