**Scope of Responsibilities**:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the youth program in collaboration with 35 + staff. This position recruits and supervises programs staff, school and site participation, all program activities including liaising with school administration, parents and key stakeholders. This role will be responsible for the monitoring and deployment of all budget activities under the supervision of the Director of Children, Youth and Families.

**Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Assist in annual program plans, KPI’s and outcome plan preparation, development, and implementation
- Recruit, Screen, train, monitor, coach and provide direct site and staff supervision for all program activities
- Responsible for funder portal administration for reporting, attendance and financial monitoring.
- Provide routine review of program lifecycles including regular site review, curriculum review, evaluation and data collection
- Supervise all risk management protocols and policy and processes for the program
- Monitor Budget performance and all key performance indicators as per provincial governments guidelines
- Provides conflict management to all staff, School administration, youth and parents
- Responsible for the promotion, outreach and branding of the Program in the community including key collaborations, partnership and relationship building
- Participation in SMT team, fundraising activities and cross sector/team development
- Responsible for the disseminate of program information and all communication from Head Office to front line staff
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and program management via team meetings and supervisory discussions
- Participate in team meetings and fundraising activities
- Understand and meet program goals and targets
- Report to the Director of Children, Youth and Families with updates, questions or concerns
- Carry out responsibilities, as directed by the Director of Children, Youth and Families with professionalism, dignity and integrity
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Children, Youth and Families

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management/ Education/Child and Youth/ Social Work or approved combination of education and work experience
- Sound understanding of the academic and social issues facing children/youth with Learning Disabilities and of the community resources available
- HIGH FIVE, Principles of Healthy Child Development ; First Aid/CPR an asset
- Excellent cross cultural, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated solutions driven and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and represent LDATD professionally in all activities
- Strong attention to detail with ability to work well with vulnerable populations
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with access to reliable car.
- A valid Vulnerable Sector’s Criminal Record Check

**Terms: Full-Time (Fixed-Term Contract)**
**Hours**:40 hours per week(Monday-Friday 10am-6pm)
**Start Date**:Sept. 5, 2023
**Reporting**:Director of Children, Youth and Families
**Pay rate**:$25-27 per hour
