Niagara Falls, Canada Westridge HR Full time

Our Niagara Falls based client is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join their team full time.

**What You’ll Do**
- Support all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Receive vendor shipments both physically and in the ERP system.
- Ship parcels and products.
- Pick/fulfill and stage products based on production requirements.
- Perform some building maintenance.
- Deliver products to/from customer locations.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety procedures and policies.
- Interface with external/internal clients, manufacturers and vendors as needed.
- Maintain and file all records, reports, and other documents as required.
- Recognize and escalate deeper and more complex issues when necessary or other appropriate personnel.
- Comply with all safe work practices and technical standards.

**How You Will Be Successful**
- 2+ years of warehouse experience in a warehouse or inventory setting is required.
- Valid G-level drivers’ license and clean driving record required.
- Completion of a Level 2 police background check is required.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods, warehouse management systems, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software, ERP system, and MS Office Suite is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to lift (up to 50lbs), walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and work at heights (ladders).
- Forklift certification an asset.

**Wage**: $18 to $22 / hr., aligned with experience & health benefits.

**Shifts**: Day shift, Monday to Friday

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
