The Role
The Warehouse Manager oversees the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring optimal inventory levels and smooth operations. This role involves managing staff, maintaining safety standards, and implementing effective processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Job Type: Regular Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (day shift); occasional weekend work required
Compensation:  $24.00 to $30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Shipment Management: Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with logistics partners, and optimize shipping processes.

Inventory Management: Implement efficient inventory strategies, conduct cycle counts and audits, and minimize discrepancies and obsolescence.

Fleet and Facility Management: Manage the company's fleet, monitor fuel usage and maintenance, and oversee warehouse facilities, ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with sales to fulfill customer orders accurately and assist with product demonstrations and technical support.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure a high-performing team.

Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Infrastructure Maintenance: Collaborate with internal teams to promptly address infrastructure issues within the warehouse.

How You Will be Successful
  • 4+ years of warehouse leadership experience in a warehouse or inventory setting is required.
  • Valid G-level drivers’ license and clean driving record required.
  • Forklift certification an asset.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control methods, warehouse management systems, and best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Physically able to lift (up to 50lbs), walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and work at heights (ladders).
