Warehouse Manager

Our Niagara Falls based client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team full-time.
**What You’ll Do**
- Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to optimize shipping processes.
- Implement best practices for packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management strategies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Minimize inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, and obsolescence.
- Manage the company's fleet of delivery/service vehicles, ensuring they are well-maintained, and schedules are optimized.
- Monitor fuel usage and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the maintenance of warehouse facilities, including security, safety, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address any infrastructure issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Assist in the coordination of product demonstrations and technical support as needed.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, including supervisors, pickers, packers, and drivers.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training, and development to ensure a high-performing team.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
**How You Will Be Successful**
- 4+ years of warehouse leadership experience in a warehouse or inventory setting is required.
- Valid G-level drivers’ license and clean driving record required.
- Completion of a Level 2 police background check is required.
- Experience in warehouse role, preferably in the technology or electronics industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control methods, warehouse management systems, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to lift (up to 50lbs), walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and work at heights (ladders).
- Forklift certification an asset.
**Wage**: $20 to $30 / hr., aligned with experience and health benefits.
**Shifts**: Day shift, Monday to Friday
