**Regular Full-Time - Pay Grade 10 ($35.64 - $38.63/hour - 2023 Rates)**

The Financial Services and Asset Management department are pleased to be seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. If you have the knowledge and skills to carry out complex accounting procedures and analysis, have previous experience with GAAP, public sector procurement principles and PSAAB, and love working on advanced financial formulas and pivot tables in Excel, this role may be the next step in your career

Reporting to the Accountant, this position performs financial reporting functions and assists the Financial Services management team in the direction and control of financial information, working closely with various internal departments, as well as provincial and federal ministries and agencies. Other responsibilities include oversight of reconciliation processes relating to property taxation, utility billing, accounts receivable and subledgers, ensuring proper functioning of related software, adherence to taxation legislation, and integrity of data including the assessment roll, property tax role, and integration with electronic Home Owner Grant and Deferment processes.
