ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, and talks with customers.
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong written and verbal communication skills, schedule flexibility and superior customer service skills.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in marketing and business development within the bakery, specialty foods, or food service industry is required.
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service & product knowledge.
- Highly Energetic, enthusiastic, & positive attitude.
- Must have reliable form of transportation & live within close proximity of territory.
