Best Western Freeport Inn & Suites is looking for an energetic and caring individual responsible for providing for the comfort and service for guests of our hotel. The individual in this role will promote a positive image of the property to guests, make reservation and process payments, etc. If you are a pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests, come join our amazing team right away.

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience in a Customer Service environment.
- Excellent customer relations.
- Adaptable to change and be able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Eager and focused to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to analyse and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
- It's never an issue for you to say SORRY, even when it's not your fault.
- Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Pleasant, courteous, empathetic, fast acting, professional, discreet, friendly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrates organisation and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong computer knowledge.
- Able to work both independently and a team environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

**Guest Services Agent**

Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. We need a person who is pleasant in person as well as holding exceptional telephone manners.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
- Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements.
- Answer the phone in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Up-sell rooms where possible to maximise hotel revenue
- Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns.
- Record guest preferences in PMS system.
- Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges.
- Accurately process all guest transactions using established procedures.
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring.
- Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.
- Always follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures. Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behaviour to the supervisor or manager on duty.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts and weekends.
- Applicants must hold a valid D.L.

**This role will typically allow a range between 16 to 24 hours per week.**

**Mainly Evening 3-11 PM shifts. Weekend availability is an asset.**

**The starting salary for this role is $16.50 CAD per hour.**
