Overview
The **Customer Insights Manager, **will have strong business advisory skills and insights expertise, turning insights to actionable business recommendations. They will be primarily responsible for analyzing data and providing unbiased insights and recommendations for multiple customers, to optimize total category performance, and internally to our sales and marketing teams to uncover category opportunities.
The incumbent will drive analytic solutions while providing expert category and market knowledge on performance, innovation, market insights and trends leveraging POS, consumer data and Wonderbrands proprietary consumer research. The role is an opportunity to build a strong, consultative relationship with both internal and external business partners.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide expert category knowledge on performance, innovation, market insights, trends and consumer data
- Create on-going reporting to track performance across Wonderbrands segments and to track and interpret performance while drawing insights and presenting critical findings to retail partners.
- Work closely and build trusted relationships with external retailer teams, based on your objective and unbiased category approach. Work cross functionally with internal marketing and sales teams to drive category performance.
- Identify assortment opportunities, shelf allocations and adjacency recommendations for category planograms
- Provide ad-hoc historical assessment of Flyer/Ad Activity and promotional item recommendations to identify opportunities to drive category performance, including loyalty programs
- Provide post mortems and tracking of promotional and seasonal programs
- Timely turn-around time and bandwidth to support ad hoc analysis requests
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a previous analytics-driven role, utilizing Nielsen POS platforms, Numerator (promo and consumer platforms), customer-led data platforms
- A high-level expert in all Microsoft Office Suite tools, particularly Excel
- Proficiency in JDA an asset though not required
- Working knowledge of the Canadian CPG industry and the retail landscape
- Superb communication skills with an intrinsic ability to distill vast amounts of data into critical business insights
- An incredible attention to detail, especially as it relates to data accuracy
- Previous experience in presenting complex analytics to a senior level audience
- Proven expertise in building user-friendly tools and reports that help bring data to life
