**Role overview**

As a Product Manager at ChargeLab, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products by managing a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and business stakeholders in Sales, Marketing and Operations. Your primary responsibilities are to create a compelling vision, develop a robust product strategy, and build a roadmap that aligns with ChargeLab's business goals. You will be instrumental in delivering features that enhance the experience for our business customers and partners, driving innovation, and ensuring the success of our products in the market.

**Product strategy**:
Internalize and deeply understand ChargeLab’s mission and strategy, and how company objectives translate into your team’s goals.

Stay close to ChargeLab's customers, understanding their needs and opportunities.

Develop and communicate a clear and inspiring product vision aligned with the company's overall strategy.

Formulate and execute a comprehensive product strategy that addresses market needs and opportunities.

**Leadership and stakeholder management**:
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business customers and partners, to develop, launch and improve upon products, gathering feedback and understanding evolving needs.

Communicate product plans and results to internal and external audiences to gain buy-in and alignment and to amplify impact of launches.

Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, training and updates for your product area.

Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging open communication and idea-sharing.

**Customer insights**:
Deeply understand customer and business problems through UX research, data analysis and market/competitor research

Translate research into actionable insights and their impact/opportunity to the business

**Product development and delivery**:
Translate user and business needs into product requirements by distilling problems, defining goals and priorities and describing desired outcomes.

Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring seamless execution.

Identify, prioritize and resolve technical, functional and business issues across implementation QA, reported bugs and customer feedback.

Drive continuous improvement by analyzing product performance metrics and user feedback.

**Company details**

ChargeLab is the Android of EV charging. We don’t build hardware. Instead, we partner with leading manufacturers like Eaton, ABB, and Siemens to bundle their EV chargers with ChargeLab’s software. Our end customers include building owners, convenience stores, utilities, and fleets. They leverage our charging station management system (CSMS) and open APIs to manage thousands of EV chargers more efficiently.

By 2030, most new vehicles sold in North America will be EVs. ChargeLab has raised US $30 million to build the world’s best software for managing large networks of EV chargers. We currently have 65 full-time employees, including over 40 team members in engineering and product.

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of professional, full-time, product management experience
- A proven track record of successfully launching and managing products at software and/or growth companies
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS or EV charging industry strongly preferred
- A passion for ChargeLab's mission to deploy EV charging infrastructure for the world
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor to a variety of target audiences including executive level stakeholders
- A strategic outlook with the ability to craft a coherent and inspiring product vision, multi-year strategy and quarterly roadmap
- A customer centric and empathetic approach that drives an ability to translate real life problems into positive user experiences
- An agile structural and analytical thinking mind that distills complex problems into articulated frameworks
- Stakeholder management skills enabling effective multilevel and cross-functional team collaboration
- Exceptional UX design and data analysis fluency and technical acumen
