We are looking for someone to fill the blended role of a customer support representative and a receptionist. This person must be excellent on the phone, great with computers and highly detail oriented.

**About the Job**

This job is a blended role, filling aspects related to both customer support and reception. Due to the nature the role, there is plenty of opportunity for growth depending on skill set and interests.

An average day will include providing a total of two hours of reception work, with the remainder of time devoted to support inquiries and projects. During times of absences either in reception or support, this division of time could shift.

Reception requires quick and accurate gathering of information by phone, then relaying relevant details to the appropriate person or department.

Compassion and patience are essential. Many of the questions may seem simple for an individual that is comfortable with technology, but can be overwhelming for some clients. Additionally, many customers may be in a time of stress which can increase anxiety around new technology. Depending on your strengths and interests as well as need in the company this role could develop to answering more complex questions.

Additional time will be spent on various team projects. Initially this will primarily involve consolidating information for clients to reference (a great learning tool), and will progress from there.

Strong computer skills and comfort in learning new programs are essential for the role, which could develop into further content creation, research, and exploring options to improve customer service.

**Tasks include**
- Assist clients to use our products, technology and our website
- Call clients in the order their requests were received to provide assistance
- Screen and direct calls
- Log all calls into the Customer Relationship Management System

**Skills and Experience**
- Communication skills to keep phone calls short, acquire all required information, and leave the client happy
- Accurately type at least 40 words per minute (so you can get caller details transcribed while on a call)
- Comfort with technology, including MAC computers, customer relationship management systems, word processing programs, basic spreadsheets, Wordpress and office printer/copiers
