Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
This position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits to our locations in Richmond and Vancouver required. Some training at the start of the position may be required in-person with our Office Manager. While hours are flexible, this position will require set work days. Once a month, there will be one evening required, running our PAC meeting.
**Duties**:
- Managing the parent volunteer calendar, quarterly sign up, and volunteer information
- Responding to registration inquiries, offering out registration spaces to families and collecting enrolment paperwork
- Data entry for child and staff information into our online system
- Running monthly PAC meetings, taking notes and filing notes as required
- Coordinating interview times for teaching positions with centre managers; posting and managing teaching job postings as required
- Various administrative tasks as required by the Office Manager
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
