The Strategic Human Resources Branch (SHR) supports the Ministry of Children and Family Development with human resources (HR) and organizational development initiatives, programs and services related to workforce planning, engagement, leadership development, recruitment and retention, corporate HR priorities, occupational health and safety, workplace health and safety, Indigenous recruitment and cultural safety, equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism, corporate learning and leadership development, and client services. The SHR team focuses on the strategic needs of the ministry to ensure it has the people and skills it needs to provide exceptional services to the children, youth and families of British Columbia, now and into the future.
The Corporate Learning & Leadership Development (CLLD) team is part of the SHR branch. The CLLD team leads corporate learning across the ministry, ensuring all employees have access to high quality, consistent learning and development opportunities throughout their careers. Corporate learning equips employees, supervisors, managers and senior leaders with skills and tools to help them thrive in their roles and lead in the dynamic and modern context we’re in.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**:
- University Degree in adult education, human resources, business administration, OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
**Experience**:
- Two (2) years of experience designing, developing, and delivering, human resource workshops and/or courses and/or programs to adult audiences.
- Two (2) years of experience evaluating learning needs, learning impact, talent management, leadership, diversity and inclusion, succession, and organizational development.
- Two (2) years of experience conducting primary and secondary research to develop training and development frameworks, including creating and presenting information to senior leaders for the purpose of decision-making.
**Preference may be given to those with one or more years or more of the following**:
- Masters’ degree in adult education.
- Project Management Certification.
- Provincial Instructor Diploma or Certificate in Adult Education and/or; Coaching Certification.
- Experience with instructional design and authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
- Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle.
- Experience with video, audio, and graphics editing and design software.
**PROVISOS**
- Must be willing and able to travel occasionally within the province.
