Are you confident that you have the skillset to design marketing strategies that effectively translate into an ROI through a solid inbound lead funnel? Marketing is really tricky these days too. Organic social media is borderline useless, everyone’s playing the SEO game, so either way you have to pay to play in these areas to make a dent, and unfortunately Google Ads are afflicted with a lot of bots now. So we’re looking for a super creative Marketer that can identify really unique and crafty ways to punch us through the noise, or avoid the noise entirely and go about it a different way. The Growth & Marketing Lead is a critical position at Pathfinder365, and when I say ground floor, I really mean it. This Startup is early stage, pre-revenue, but has a rockin’ platform in market, with a lot more to come. We’re looking for someone that’s keen to be a part of the scrappy foundational days of a Startup’s journey building, creating, hustling, inspiring, and making big things happen from zero. Startups are not for the faint of heart, or weak in motivation. You have to come to work (remotely) every day with an eagerness to dive in and make a difference. Nothing is handed to you with a Startup. Noone has capacity to motivate you, to encourage you to move forward, or to pull ideas from you. Everyone in a Startup is on the same level, plowing forward, pulling their own weight, and more, to make this thing work. There’s nothing like a Startup environment. You’re either built for it or you aren’t.

The overall focus of this position will be to enhance our current inbound sales funnel by developing a strong digital marketing presence. More specifically, this person will boost the social media strategy we already have in place, taking things to a more granular level, and will focus on substantially increasing each channel’s traction, while also adding other channels, connecting with micro content influencers, building and deploying a webinar strategy, dialing our weekly blogs and bi-weekly newsletter in, and so much more. This person will be a strong writer, and will collaborate with our leadership on content development. This position will lead the next phase of our marketing development, which will guide and fuel our sales process.

This project’s objectives are to establish an effective, agile, and scalable marketing strategy, that successfully creates an inbound sales funnel. This will be done by building out Pathfinder’s marketing, content and sales strategy and deploying and testing it in-market. Specific tasks under review are:

- Creates and publishes content on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and any others that are identified for incorporation along the way
- Maintains a current and evolving understanding of the targeted audiences for each social channel, and builds an effective granular strategy
- Creates a dynamic content management strategy, including persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience, and is unique to the typical interactions of each engagement medium
- Maintains a strong focus on building the site’s SEO, with a keen eye for strategic copywriting and keyword deployment
- Identifies and implements updates on the website
- Manages the e-newsletter strategy, creation and deployment
- Manages the weekly blog, creation and deployment
- Manages most aspects of creative design
- Oversees site metrics, analyzes and compiles analytics reports, and create proposals for enhancements/new directions
- Strong focus on audience growth, building brand awareness, and ultimately boosting signup conversions and sales
- Creates unique marketing campaigns and follows through from end to end, including any direct B2B communications that relate to the campaign
- Build and deploy a multi-province webinar strategy

Jobs with early-stage Startups are NOT normal jobs. Our primary focus isn't on our pay, titles or benefits. Those are important in the end, but solidifying those are the goal of the Startup. In the early days, we're entirely focused on the successful launch and growth of the Startup, and to have direct control of the trajectory and path of our careers.
