Administrative Assistant

AGP LLP is a boutique criminal law firm located in downtown Ottawa. We are looking for an administrative assistant to join our growing team on a full-time permanent basis.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Receive and greet visitors in an appropriate and professional manner.
- Maintain electronic client database including electronic calendar of all court dates and client meetings.
- Draft and file legal documentation, memos, and correspondence.
- Open and organize files at request of lawyers.
- Correspond with court services to order court documents or obtain information as requested.
- Other duties of a general nature as may be required to achieve the overall success of the company, including errands and maintaining an organized and tidy work environment.
- 0-5 years of experience
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook as well as Adobe Professional
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Personable with excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills in the English language
- Willingness to learn and adapt to varying situations and requirements
- Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner with mínimal supervision
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
