**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
A bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field plus five years of related professional sustainability experience, or an equivalent combination of directly related education, training and experience.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES**:

- Considerable knowledge of sustainability legislation, principles, practices, and techniques for climate action and resiliency including performance measurement.
- Sound knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of project management, portfolio management and organizational change management.
- Problem-solving skills supported by the ability to research, analyze, and interpret complex information.
- Political acumen and critical thinking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to strategically influence senior leadership, elected officials, and external partners.
- Ability to plan, manage, coordinate, and lead the implementation, evaluation, and measurement of diversified climate action and resiliency projects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other levels of government, community groups, businesses, post
- secondary institutions, and non-profit organizations.
- Ability to prepare and present reports of a political, sensitive, and operational nature.

Project Management Certification
