Pasta Head Chef

Il ponte is seeking a head Chef to lead all systems, routines and day-to-day Culinary operations. This role requires the the maintenance and implementation of all culinary operations, including: creating creative dishes, specials and menus, recruiting and training of kitchen associates, ordering and inventory support. The head Chef empowers their team to provide world-class customer service to guests while taking great care of our equipment and facilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Teach, mentor and motivate the kitchen staff to uphold and exceed the highest standards of communication, quality, consistency, and execution
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding food cost, labor cost, and other operating expense forecast
- Support Leaders, property team and Kitchen team members with daily tasks to ensure readiness for service
- Work independently with mínimal or no supervision
Our Requirements
- 5+ years experience in service and hospitality management positions
- Maintain proper food certifications specific to State Laws
- Ability to be a leader with a desire to educate and empower team members, creating accountability standards
- Strong attention to operational and administrative detail
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills
- Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creative mind
Our Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$72,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
