Toronto World School is a school that is fully inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education and based in Mississauga,Ontario. The courses we offer derive from the curriculum set by the Ontario Ministry of Education, and our students work towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) in order to continue their academic careers at a post-secondary school of their choice.

The position is in-office and will have flexible hours. Duties of the Vice-Principal will be similar to the duties in a traditional school setting and will be assigned in collaboration with the principal.

Ontario College of Teachers Additional Qualification Prin D&I required.

Qualifications:

- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field;
- An Ontario Certificate of Teachers (OCT) is preferred, and membership MUST be in good standing;
- 2 years of classroom and / or Online teaching and academic supervisory experience is required;
- Strong understanding of the Ontario School Curriculum and the Growing Success Documents;
- Manage the creation, storage, and maintenance of student information files, including assessments for For/As/Of Learning, student records and report cards;
- Oversee the Preparation and collection of materials and teaching evidence from teaching staff according to Ministry of Education; maintain records of student evaluations and assessments;
- Experience working with staff and students in both in-person and online environments;
- Experience using learning technology (e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace);
- Excellent communication skills, used in a respectful and supportive manner, with all stakeholders;
- Be a problem-solver and solution-provider when issues arise;
- Thrives in a positive team environment and easily adapts to new things;
