**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced floor coordinator to join progressive interior designing company in Concord, ON. This position requires a self-motivated and reliable individual with the ability to quickly take control of the responsibilities.

The major Intersection for job is Edgeley Blvd & Four valley Dr. in Concord, ON. Pay rate is $18-$20 (Depends upon experience) and it is an 8-hour Morning shift (Monday
- Friday)

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- The primary responsibility of the floor coordinator is to schedule and coordinate the flow of work within the woodworking and interior designing department: The coordinator will accept contract releases, process production orders as received, order materials for will call or delivery, and schedule & supervisor workers and skilled technician for project completion. Other duties include receiving all orders and project timelines, ordering shortages, and aiding arrange any workforce within the department.
- Coordinates and distributes the work activities and/or production efforts of the production group. Also responsible for conducting daily production and shipping scheduling, administer raw material procurement, be a primary vendor contact and perform clerical/administrative duties within designated areas of responsibility. In addition, the floor coordinator will fill in as liaison between supervisors of different departments.
- Coordinate’s workflow and production efforts of designated group. Responsible for raw material procurement. Maintains production/shipping documentation.

Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to cycle counting, inventory control, raw material receipt and finished product shipping.
- Coordinate between departments & plan production, also responsible for controlling the production timeline.
- Determine if back orders need to be reselected or will there be enough time in the schedule to wait for the material to arrive. Alert team as quickly as possible for any reselections
- Responsible for building and maintaining interpersonal relationships with coworkers and contractors.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment is preferred.
- Ability to work professionally and independently with little supervision and a demonstrated capability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to do mathematical calculations to estimate quantities, and the ability to determine time, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity to a timely completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner in writing and verbally.
- Ability to multitask and while paying close attention to details.
- Must have excellent computer & MS OFFICE skills and the ability to learn new software programs.
- Must have the ability to resolve issues such as scheduling conflicts, job readiness conditions, and work required by other trades before measures can be performed. Any adjustments to the schedule or issues that cannot be worked out in a timely manner must be worked out with the shift supervisor.
- Must have the ability to think quickly, often solving problems as they arise. Being able to think critically with good situational awareness.

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
