**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Take control of all communications for tenders/projects assigned to you.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, project coordinators, sales team and other estimators. As well as external suppliers, designers and architects, to gather required information.
- Utilize software tools such as Measure Square and Microsoft Excel to create detailed estimates
- Support the sales team with adjustments, modifications and estimates to aid in closing and signing contracts.
- Perform the analysis of plans and specifications, in conjunction with the sales team, to propose cost savings alternatives where applicable.
- Support of operations in a transfer of project information and overview of contracted projects.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Present estimates to management in a clear and professional manner
- Manage your time and schedule in order to complete assigned tasks in the timeframe and deadlines given.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques
- Strong time management skills
- Experience/knowledge with Measure Square and Microsoft Excel software for takeoffs and estimating
- Ability to price projects accurately based on specifications

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
