**CURRENT LOCATION**: Midtown Toronto (849 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto, ON M4G 2L5)
- **FUTURE LOCATION**: Etobicoke (Queensway) new, state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz dealership opening in 2023, as an _Experience Destination with cutting-edge architecture with advanced technologies to create an environment in which the consumer leads every interaction. The 95,900-square-foot facility will occupy a 6-acre site at the southeast corner of _**_The Queensway and The East Mall._**

**About the opportunity**

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, and a member of the Accounting Team, this position is responsible to:

- assist the controller in performing general accounting functions (A/R, A/P, deposit, cheques, etc.)
- performs bank reconciliation
- maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and receivable ledgers
- enter all required data from invoices and run payable and receivable calculations in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices
- post invoices and prepare cheques
- prepare deposits and maintain procedures for the handling of cash control
- monitor accounts receivables aging ensuring payments are received in a timely fashion and take action to resolve accounts with late payments
- post-warranty credits daily
- reconcile OEM parts statement(s)
- reconcile credit card statements and other accounts
- assist in closing month adhering to deadlines

**About you**
- one-two (1-2) years proven accounting experience
- Working knowledge of CDK
- post-secondary education, Accounting Diploma
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)

- ability to adhere to internal controls
